About Kathleen Armata

Kathleen Armata is a storyteller at heart, a retired Marriage and Family Therapist, devoted grandmother, and passionate writer who believes stories can open young minds and touch growing hearts. With more than twenty-five years of experience as a psychotherapist, Kathleen brings a unique understanding of emotions, relationships, individuality, and human connection to her writing.

Her love for storytelling has inspired her to create numerous children’s stories filled with meaningful themes such as friendship, kindness, acceptance, imagination, and understanding our feelings. Many of her stories were inspired by a desire to create something special for her grandchildren, stories they could treasure and someday share with generations of their own.

Now retired, Kathleen happily embraces her creative side through children’s literature, art, and spiritual poetry. Whether making young readers smile or gently encouraging them to see the world with greater compassion, Kathleen writes with one simple purpose: to create stories that entertain, inspire, comfort, and stay in the heart.
